Access
Statement for the Aynsome Manor Hotel
The
Aynsome Manor is a small family run country house hotel.
- On
arrival to the property there is a gravelled car parking
area for fifteen cars on the level. There are no steps leading
to the front door. The Porch door is 39cms wide and the
front door is 32cms wide.
- On
the ground floor there is the dining room, bar and small
lounge area. The dining room and bar door are 33cms wide.
The public toilet is ten steps up a cantilever staircase.
- Bedrooms
1 - 8 are up 18 steps which are 14cms in depth.
- Bedrooms
9 - 13 on the second floor are up a further 13 steps which
are 18cms in depth.
- Sadly
we do not have any ground floor bedrooms or the facility
of a lift.
- Help
will always be offered with luggage.
- All
rooms are equipped with direct dial telephone for outside
calls, or to the main Reception which has a "night service"
cover for emergencies. Telephone numbers for doctors and
vet are available in the room folder. The mobile network
coverage for this area can be unreliable.
- Menus
can be printed in a larger font. We have a Loop Induction
system for hard of hearing and can offer an extra bath support
rail. All baths have hand held shower heads and a supply
of anti slip mats. We can if required hire a wheelchair.
- If
you require more assistance for evacuation in case of fire,
please notify us on arrival and we will ensure you are evacuated
safely. e.g. hearing or sight impairment.
- Dogs
are welcome in the hotel except public rooms.
- With
the nature of a 400 Hundred year old building and conservation
issues, mean that it is impossible to make the first and
second floors fully accessible.
- We
request that anyone wishing to make a booking or enquiry,
inform us of any special needs or disabilities that they
may have in order for us to meet any personal requirements.
- Although
we have tried to be as accurate and include as much detail
as we can in our Access Statement, we are always willing
to give information on any aspect of the hotel if this statement
does not answer your particular query.
